Family Faith Formation

You and your children are invited to join us in a shared faith formation journey at St. Patrick of the Island.

We believe faith is a gift from God. Our response to that gift changes, grows and develops as we do. We believe these years (Kindergarten through 6th grade) are a key period in the faith formation of the people of God.

In this program, St. Patrick partners with your family in the task of faith formation and development. We hope to support you in nurturing the seeds of faith with small group sharing, the enthusiastic presence of other significant adults, prayer and exploration into our shared Catholic identity. Our Sunday K – 6 program is designed to foster a living, conscious, and active faith.

The Kindergarten through 6th grade program meets on Sunday mornings. This allows families to choose to attend Mass at 9:30 or 11:00. Children meet in classrooms at the church hall, and at the front sacristy after the 11:00 mass.

The catechists (religion teachers) in our program are parish volunteers who willingly give of their time and energy.

The entire catechetical team at St. Patrick looks forward to working with you and your family in this special time of faith development. Please join us in taking time to put faith first!
